A Mechanical Model of the Morphological Method of Decision-Making in Conditions of Uncertainty
Abstract
A mechanical model of the morphological method of decision-making under uncertainty is proposed in order to reinforce the mathematical apparatus on which the method is based. The methods of expert assessments are divided into two enlarged groups, in one of which the considered method is positioned. A description of a mechanical model simulating the elements and characteristics of the methods of the selected group is given. Several specific variants of the model are described: the processing of the observation results is compared with the processing of the results of the expert survey. The method of comparing the states of the system and the method of imposing restrictions on the state of the system are illustrated. The model itself is based on simple and well-studied physical effects and phenomena.
