Abstract

The article describes the well-known Russian mathematician Yuri Vladimirovich Matiyasevich. It is a question of his main results, in particular, about the solution of the tenth problem of Hilbert. The author shares his personal impressions of Yuri Matiyasevich and interesting unresolved problems.
